First Day of School

Matthew started school yesterday. He was so excited to go to preschool. He had his giant lunchbox and backpack to carry his little snack. Tuesday was his art class. His teacher has a fabulous British accent and is really cute with the kids. Matty looked like he had walked into heaven when he saw all the art supplies waiting for him. I was planning to stay if he needed me, but he was jussst fine and barely paused to kiss me goodbye. Phil came with to pick him up. The teacher told us with wide eyes that Matty is very bright, capable and independent. I think he kept her pretty busy- he had the most art projects to bring home. He also told me he said the prayer at snack time. 
As its a secular school I’m very curious if it was his idea to bless the snack. He can’t wait for his science class on Thursday!
