Matty has a crush on the character, June, on his favorite show, Little Einsteins. He said to me the other day, “I wish June could come out of the T.V!” I asked him what he would do if June could come to his house. He said, “I would show her my tricks on the trampoline and my art projects.” And he added with a blush, “I’d even dance with her if she showed me how.” Garsh… how romantic.

Matty is always talking. If he can’t think of anything to tell us about he’ll ask us a question. If he can’t think of a good question he’ll ask “How come …. (insert obvious here)” For example, “how come I am sitting in my seat?” or “how come we are driving?” etc. I enjoy his constant companionship, but every now and again I wish I could reply with my own ‘how come’, “How come you are STILL talking!”

Matty has created a new word that he likes to use when he likes something. He says, “That’s Studenary!” (It kind of sounds like a mix between student and dictionary.)

Matty asked Phil, “How come you have a fat belly like Santa Claus?” Phil told him it was because he ate too many cookies like Santa. Matty said, “No, but why are you so FAT?!” He didn’t want to believe it was from the cookies.
