Mattyisms - Costuming
Today Matty has been pretending to be HeMan. He found two of my stretchy handbands and wrapped them around his wrists as ‘armor’. He wore them all day and I didn’t think much about it. When dad came home to pick us up to go out on the town he was not so keen on his son wearing magenta headbands as bracelets around town. I appealed to Matty that perhaps he might take them off before we left so they wouldn’t make him hot and sweaty. He said, “They won’t make me hot and sweaty mom, they are cool!”
