Moral Support

I haven’t posted in a while, but perhaps this entry will explain my neglect. We are having a baby! I’m due in April. We are all very excited and all is going well. Unfortunately, I am feeling pretty sick a lot of the time. But, I’ve got a great support team and we’re getting through. Since “couch days” aren’t always an option, I always carry airline barf bags in my back pocket. I’ve mastered the driving on the freeway puke, the playing tag with the kids puke time-out, and other skillful ones. It helps me to be proud of something right now like my puking versatility!
Matthew is so funny! He’ll say things like “All right, mom! You kept that breakfast for a while today!” or “That’s pretty tricky to puke when there’s no food in you.” I am pretty tricky, I guess. He’s my sunshine and helps me look on the bright side. He even prays that “mom won’t puke her lunch today.” When I puked after dinner he said, “Ah man, I guess I’ll have to be more ‘pacific’ next time.” And Katie likes to stand by me on the stool at the kitchen sink and pretend to puke with me. Who could ask for better moral support!?
